Service and Provider

Flashcards is an open-source spaced-repetition and flashcards tool. These Terms govern only the hosted website, apps, API, and MCP service provided by SAMO DANNI EOOD, company ID 207395566, VAT BG207395566, registered address bulv. Maritza 154, entrance D, floor 6 #14, 4018, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Flashcards was created by Kirill Markin.

The hosted service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis during the beta period.

Age

You must be at least 13 to use the hosted service. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age, that higher age applies. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the service.

Your Account

You are responsible for access to your email account, authentication codes, sessions, and API credentials, and for activity carried out through them. Provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your Content and Data

As between you and us, you keep the rights you have in the cards, files, feedback, and other content you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content to you and people with whom you share a workspace so that we can operate the service.

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. When you delete your account, content in a shared workspace may remain available to its other members.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the service for illegal activity; infringe another person's rights; attempt to access another user's account or data; interfere with, probe, or overload the service; evade rate limits or security controls; distribute malware; or submit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content through AI or sharing features.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate a violation, or comply with law.

AI Features

Hosted AI features are optional and use OpenAI. Related AI telemetry is processed through Langfuse for debugging and service-quality analysis. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, sharing it, or applying changes.

When you authorize an external AI client to use the MCP service or Agent API, that client and its model provider process the data you request under their own terms. We are not responsible for an external client's operation or output.

Availability and Changes

The hosted beta is provided on a best-effort basis and may change, pause, or be discontinued without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of every local or hosted copy, or that every feature will remain available. Keep an independent copy of content you cannot afford to lose.

Ending Use

You may stop using the hosted service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including those concerning rights, responsibility, and legal compliance, will continue to apply.

Self-Hosted Instances

The source code is available under the MIT license. A self-hosted deployment is controlled by its operator, not by SAMO DANNI EOOD, and is not governed by these Terms. The operator of that deployment is responsible for its availability, security, data handling, and applicable terms.
