## Gizmo automatic conversion से शुरू होता है

Gizmo में नए cards बनाने का सबसे तेज रास्ता Magic Import है। उसकी [official Magic Import guide](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/15647624-what-is-magic-import) के मुताबिक आप PDFs, app में record किया lecture, pasted notes, photos, PowerPoint files, Quizlet, Anki, spreadsheets और websites से शुरुआत कर सकते हैं। Gizmo सामग्री process करके अपने आप cards बनाता है और Memorise में पूछे जाने वाले words को green color में highlight कर देता है।

जब परेशानी source material को cards में बदलने की हो, तब इतनी बड़ी input list काम आती है। Student को पहले lecture या slide deck को किसी supported text या image format में बदलने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती। Gizmo खुद भी imported deck को जाँचने की सलाह देता है। Automatic conversion setup का समय बचाता है, लेकिन हर generated card को सही या सीखने लायक नहीं बना देता।

## AI Tutor का दायरा card drafting से बड़ा है

Gizmo का AI Tutor अपने आप में पूरा study workflow है। [AI Tutor documentation](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/13011417-how-does-the-ai-tutor-work) के अनुसार, इसे Home या किसी deck से शुरू किया जा सकता है। यह Course शुरू करने के साथ flashcards, Notes, Lessons और AI-generated quizzes बना सकता है।

जब यह साफ न हो कि किसी topic को पढ़ने की अलग-अलग activities में कैसे बाँटें, तब Gizmo काम आता है। आप explanation माँग सकते हैं, lesson पढ़ सकते हैं, cards बनवा सकते हैं और Tutor workflow छोड़े बिना quiz दे सकते हैं।

तथ्यों की जाँच वाली तारीख पर free plan की दो अहम limits थीं। [Magic Import guide](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/15647624-what-is-magic-import) के अनुसार, दो Magic Imports के बीच 20 मिनट इंतजार करना पड़ता था। Gizmo ने हर दिन [पाँच free AI Tutor sessions](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/15869958-how-many-ai-tutor-sessions-can-i-have-for-free) भी दर्ज किए थे। Gizmo Unlimited में Tutor की यह limit हट जाती है। ये इस्तेमाल की limits हैं, prices नहीं। Plan details बदल सकती हैं, इसलिए किसी खास limit को ध्यान में रखकर चुनने से पहले official pages जाँच लें।

Flashcards AI chat में Gizmo जैसे Courses, Notes, Lessons या native generated quiz mode नहीं हैं। उसका काम छोटा और साफ है: card workspace को जाँचने और संभालने में मदद करना।

## Flashcards में controlled AI card creation का मतलब

Flashcards AI chat इन attachment groups को स्वीकार करता है:

- PDF;
- TXT, LOG और SQL;
- CSV, JSON, XML, Markdown और HTML;
- Python, JavaScript, TypeScript और YAML;
- XLS और XLSX spreadsheets;
- DOCX documents; और
- GIF, JPEG, PNG और WebP images।

हर attachment ज्यादा से ज्यादा 3 MB और पूरा AI run request ज्यादा से ज्यादा 5 MB हो सकता है। AI chat के लिए network connection चाहिए।

Chat मौजूदा workspace की जानकारी के साथ काम करता है। एक सीमित SQL tool के जरिए यह cards, decks और review events देख सकता है, फिर cards बना, update या delete कर सकता है। नए cards सुझाने या save करने से पहले यह मिलती-जुलती सामग्री और संभावित duplicates जाँचता है। Planned changes भी पहले साफ-साफ बताए जाते हैं।

Permission बातचीत में दी जाती है। बदलाव ठीक-ठीक बताने के बाद assistant किसी खास, कम risk वाली request को पूरा कर सकता है, जैसे “मेरे Biology deck में ये तीन cards बनाओ।” बड़े दायरे या अस्पष्ट instruction के बाद data बदलने से पहले confirmation चाहिए।

इसके लिए अलग staged draft-approval screen नहीं है। ज्यादा control चाहिए, तो पहले candidate cards या plan माँगें। Chat में सुझाए गए fronts, backs और tags पढ़ें, जरूरी बदलाव करवाएँ और उसके बाद AI को उन्हें save करने के लिए साफ तौर पर कहें। AI के सुझाए नए cards में tags जरूरी हैं। Front में ऐसा question या recall prompt होना चाहिए जिससे answer जाहिर न हो। Back की शुरुआत सीधे answer से होनी चाहिए और जरूरत पड़ने पर Markdown या examples जोड़े जा सकते हैं।

## दोनों review loops एक ही तरह काम नहीं करते

Gizmo spaced repetition भी इस्तेमाल करता है। उसकी [spaced-repetition explanation](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/15647638-what-is-spaced-repetition) के अनुसार, सही answers बाद में और गलत answers जल्दी दोबारा आते हैं; timing अपने आप तय होती है। इस लेख के लिए देखी गई official documentation Gizmo के scheduler को FSRS नहीं कहती। यह केवल documentation की सीमा है और private implementation के बारे में किसी भी निष्कर्ष का आधार नहीं है।

Flashcards में review के दौरान card edit किया जा सकता है। Answer देखने के बाद बड़े rewrite या discussion के लिए उसी card को AI chat में भी भेज सकते हैं। Gizmo quiz के बाहर front, back, photos, lists और multiple-choice options edit करने देता है, लेकिन उसकी [card management guide](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/13761411-how-do-i-edit-or-manage-my-cards) के मुताबिक Memorise के दौरान card सिर्फ delete किया जा सकता है, edit नहीं।

## Gizmo की gamification असली product difference है

Gizmo में study को game जैसा बनाने पर काफी जोर है। उसका product overview XP, levels, leagues और streaks दर्ज करता है। Memorise में हर गलत answer पर एक Heart खर्च होता है। Hearts खत्म हो जाएँ, तो उनके refill होने तक quiz रुक जाती है। [Hints](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/15504721-what-are-hints) पहला letter दिखा सकते हैं या multiple-choice का कोई गलत option हटा सकते हैं। Users quiz से कमाए coins से Hints खरीद सकते हैं। Free और Unlimited plans की सटीक सीमाएँ बदल सकती हैं, इसलिए मौजूदा rules [Hearts documentation](https://help.gizmo.ai/en/articles/15623061-what-are-hearts) में जाँचें।

Flashcards में native live multiplayer, Hearts, Hints, XP, coins, levels, leagues, streaks, betting या इनके बराबर कोई game system नहीं है। यह Gizmo के community और shared-study features की जगह भी नहीं लेता। अगर ये mechanics आपको हर दिन पढ़ने के लिए वापस लाते हैं, तो Flashcards पर जाने से वे मिलेंगे नहीं।

## Offline-first की सीमा साफ-साफ समझना जरूरी है

इस लेख के लिए देखे गए Gizmo के official web और help pages में offline-first local-write guarantee दर्ज नहीं है। इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि “Gizmo offline काम नहीं कर सकता।” बात सिर्फ इतनी है कि देखी गई documentation उस storage और sync behavior की guarantee नहीं देती जिसे Flashcards ने document किया है।

Flashcards cards, edits और reviews पहले device पर save करता है। Web app IndexedDB और mobile apps SQLite इस्तेमाल करते हैं। Changes outbox में जाते हैं और connection लौटने पर sync हो जाते हैं। Internet न होने पर भी manual card बनाया जा सकता है, मौजूदा card ठीक किया जा सकता है और due reviews पूरे किए जा सकते हैं।

## Migration manual है और पूरा data नहीं ले जाता

इन दोनों सीमाओं के कारण automatic या lossless Gizmo-to-Flashcards migration उपलब्ध नहीं है। Move करना हो, तो छोटे set से शुरू करें और सिर्फ वही cards दोबारा बनाएँ जो अब भी काम के हैं। Original sources अपने पास रखें, हर front और back जाँचें, tags जोड़ें और मानकर चलें कि Gizmo progress, Tutor context, highlights, game state और scheduling history साथ नहीं आएँगे।

## Flashcards कहाँ Gizmo की सीधी जगह नहीं लेता

Flashcards इन Gizmo features की जगह नहीं लेता:

- native PowerPoint, lecture-recording, YouTube lesson-import, website, Quizlet या Anki paths;
- Memorise में automatic highlighting और progressive blanking;
- multiple-choice और typed-answer review;
- AI Tutor Courses, Notes, Lessons और generated quizzes;
- Hearts और Hints;
- XP, coins, levels, leagues और streaks;
- Gizmo Live multiplayer games, leaderboards, bets और timed rounds; या
- community और shared-study features।
