# How to Use Claude to Make Flashcards in 2026: Projects, File Uploads, and FSRS Review

Yesterday I dropped one lecture outline and one messy reading PDF into Claude and asked for flashcards. A few were solid. The rest had that familiar AI smell: technically correct, weirdly polished, and much harder to review than they looked on first read.

Anthropic introduced **Claude for Education** on **April 2, 2025**, including **Learning Mode** inside Projects. Its current help docs matter just as much. That gives **Claude flashcards** a much cleaner setup than the older "dump everything into one chat and hope" routine.

Anthropic's education report also shows the behavior is already common. ## Delete the cards that still sound like Claude

That is not one card. That is a paragraph wearing a nametag.

The better version is usually several smaller cards:
